Thanks to the special characteristics of coco substrate HORNET COCO doesn’t have a Vega and Flores variant, but there is one unique formulation for both the growth and blooming phase. We can’t make things easier! HORNET COCO is easy to use, dissolves directly and is extremely suitable for growing in all watering systems, like for example ‘run-to-waste’ systems, flood systems and ebb and flow systems.

Rich in high-value elements

After years of research into potting mixes, drainage and leaf analysis, HORNET has succeeded in being the first to develop a fertiliser that is specifically tailored to the characteristics of cocos substrates. HORNET COCO is composed of high value minerals. HORNET COCO contains natural chelates, humic and fulvic acids which give the plant optimum nutrient absorption. Why A&B nutrients?

HORNET COCO nutrients consist of two parts, an A part and a B part. We separate these parts for a reason. As it happens, if some of the elements in part A and B are thrown together at the same time, they clog together. The plant cannot absorb this. That’s why you should first add the A component and then the B component!

HOW TO USE:

Shake well before use

Mix Rate = per 1 liter of tap water at a rate of 1-4 ml of equal parts A and B to reservoir depending of stage of growth or flower or your desired EC is achieved. Please see our feed chart

Adjust pH if necessary.

Nitric acid, ammonium calcium salt (EC 239-289-5)

COCO A ANALYSIS:

  • 4.2-0-0

  • Total Nitrogen 4.2%

  • Calcium Oxide soluble in water 6.4%

COCO B ANALYSIS:

  • 0.3-4.0-3.0 with trace elements

  • Total Nitrogen 0.3%

  • Phosphorous Pentoxide 4.0% (1.7%P)

  • Phosphorous Pentoxide soluble in water 4.0% (1.7%P)

  • Potassium oxide 3.0% (2.5%P)

  • Potassium oxide soluble in water 3.0% (2.5%K)

  • Iron chelated by EDTA soluble in water 0.04%

  • Manganese chelated by EDTA soluble in water 0.01%
